SVL linear gas control valve

The SVL (order no. 668M2400) is an aluminium control valve that sets the flow of gas and cold air in plants consuming gas and air; combined with an actuator, it serves as the final control element for volume flow control. The valve is screwed into the pipeline via an Rp or NPT internal thread from 1/2" to 2", and it comes in nominal sizes DN08, DN15, DN20, DN25, DN32, DN40 and DN50. Its flow characteristic is linear from DN08 to DN40, while DN50 is not linear.

An 11.1 × 11.1 × 11.5 mm square shaft end fits straight into the internal square socket (IVK11) of the LAMTEC 668M2006 and 668M2020 actuators, so the valve is simply pushed onto the actuator and screwed in place. Since the bracket belongs to the valve, no separate bracket, coupling or mounting frame is needed, and the fixing screws come with it. The valve is designed for clockwise-rotating actuators. Besides the version for mounting on an actuator, a manual version with a continuously adjustable locking lever can be ordered.

SVL handles gases of gas families 1, 2 and 3, hydrogen and other neutral gases with an H₂S content of up to 0.1 vol.%. The gas must always be dry and must not condense. The operating pressure is limited to 500 mbar (50 kPa), and the medium temperature range is -20…+60 °C. Permitted installation positions range from horizontal to vertical, but the valve must not be fitted hanging downwards. LAMTEC issues a CE declaration of conformity for the valve based on DIN EN 13611, DIN EN 161 and (EU) 2016/426.
